Project MedHealth is a non-profit student organization based at Boston University School of Medicine dedicated to public health education. We have partnered with Boston Public Schools to provide medically-informed anti-bullying, sexual health, puberty, hygiene, and nutrition education to elementary and middle school students. Our curriculum is based upon The Boston Public Schools Communications Office’s “Focus On Children” publication. Project MedHealth was founded by Anna Volerman, MD while she was a BUSM student in ____. Dr. Volerman is now a third year MedPeds resident at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Boston. She continues to serve as the Director of the program. The day-to-day activities are managed by the second year medical student co-chairs of the Pediatric Education and Development Society (PEDS) at BUSM. Please contract us if you are interested in learning more about our program, funding, or educational services (projectmedhealth@gmail.com).
